On 15th January,the China National Standardization management committee introduced the first domestic mandatory national standard about power bank and impleted from 1st August this year.

The mandatory standard contains more than 30 data indicators.For battery test project, in addition to the general safety requirements (safety parameters, labeling requirements, warning contain conventional instructions, durability),it also includes environmental testing battery, the battery pack electrical safety tests, the battery protection circuit safety testing requirements, system protection circuit safety requirements and many other tests.

The introduction of national standards will make the market more standardized.
